RECREATION IN THE BULLHEAD CITY AREA

The tri-States area is located just 1.5 hours from Las Vegas, 4.5 hours from Los Angeles, 4 hours from Phoenix, or 3 hours from the border with Mexico.  If we look to the west we'll see Nevada; if we look to the south, we'll see California.    

Some retire here because of the tremendous opportunities available.  Some live here during the fall and winter to avoid the harsh weather in other parts of the country.  Many of of us who live here year-around do so partly because we love the rural atmosphere and the astounding range of recreation available.  

The area abounds with recreational opportunities, both outdoors and indoors.  Within a couple of hours' drive residents or visitors can fish, hunt, water ski, jet ski or snow ski, visit ghost towns,  gamble, watch world-class live entertainment, rent a houseboat for a leisurely cruise, hike in green mountains or desert, view ancient petroglyphs, take a drive down historic Route 66, visit the Grand Canyon,  file a claim and mine for your own gold or other minerals,  take some of the world's wildest whitewater raft tours, or walk across the London Bridge and while away the hours in a replica of an old English village.
